It's like I can almost reach them
I like to sit in the kitchen window and watch the birdfeeder. Sometimes Trickster Squirrel ( that's his name) comes, hangs by his back toes from the feeder's wire and has lunch there too. Grandma says campers can look but not touch.

A new camper?
Grandma says this lighting bug is made out of recycled items like a truck spring and railroad nail. It's torch will light up the little side walk at night. And it makes her smile.

The weekend camper
I guess they even have boy campers here at Camp Ohio sometimes. This is Alex from Camp Maryland. He wanted to pet me while I was holding court in my piano room. Her majesty was NOT pleased!

Scruffy- the neighborhood bad boy
Grandma says this guy is a hooligan (whatever that means) and probably the one Earl Grey fights with. He stays at another camp but stops by to eat Earl's food sometimes. And to get into trouble.
Earl (Grey)
Earl is a friend of Milo's who stops by for breakfast and supper. He's little and scappy- and always getting in fights. What is it with these guys sticking their tongues out?
Milo
So I hear that this guy is legendary- drops out of trees, hangs out on the roof, and runs with a bad crowd including skunks and raccoons. He even has 2 Seattle cats named after him. He doesnt look so tough to me!

Frenemy
This is Boo who has been camping here for a while. Sometimes we ignore each other, sometimes we have words. The main thing I've learned from her is that she thinks Grandpa belongs to her.

Our activities director ( and her twins)
She's a bit camera shy but here's Mrs. Flora Whitetail who runs the outside fun and games. She usually brings her kids with her ( Fauna and Meriweather).

Meet Grandma
Here she is in the kitchen. She's the camp cook and nurse. She also drives the bus if any campers have to go to the doctor. And she talks to us a lot. She calls me Pretty Girl which I kind of like. Do you think she solves squabbles with that wooden spoon?

This is Camp Ohio
Here is one of the camp directors- his name is Grandpa. He takes care of the grounds and drives the bus.

So this is what i figured out
I think my parents needed some " couples time" (I hear it's over rated, Dad) so they brought me here to Camp Ohio. I mean with so many trees and wild animals around, it makes total sense. So I'll make the most of it until they come back for me... parents have to do that, right? Sorry the selfie is a little blurry Dad- hard to do thru my tears

This basket with an afghan and 2 pillows is perfect while i wait for my bed. Plus I'm high enough to keep track of what's going on in my kingdom

Did you hear that?
This morning I kept hearing knocking at the back deck door- so I asked the monkey ( her name is Doris) who it would be at 7am. Seems they have blue jays in Ohio that tap on the windows when they want food. What??????

Hey- this is my personal space!
The grandpa guy must have thought I stayed under the bed all day- hardly! This morning he found my secret spot in the living room- it's perfect because no one ever goes in there! And I can play the piano anytime I want..Oh well, just so those other cats don't hear about it..

Mom?? Dad?? Anybody home?
No breakfast in bed for me I guess- especially since my bed hasn't arrived yet. But my stomach got the best of me so I guess I'll go look for this Grandma person.

Like something from a spaghetti western
Since they don't serve the buffet in the bedrooms, I have to venture downstairs sometimes. Seems that Black Cat #1 ( also known as Boo) has claimed the only unspoiled spot in the house- this Grandma person's new chair. Hasn't she heard the honored guest is supposed to be given the best seat?
